Most births that have come to fruition and have a well-controlled, uncomplicated pregnancy, proceed smoothly and within the foreseeable future.

But on occasion, despite having no problems with pregnancy, a series of unforeseen events occur during childbirth, which can result in the baby suffering from lack of oxygen.

Professionals, to the disease that results from that suffering, we call it HYPICAL-ISCHEMICAL ENCEPHALOPATHY (EHI) and the treatment for this pathology is INDEPENDENT THERAPEUTIC HYPOTHERMIA, a treatment that aims to prevent and / or reduce the brain damage caused by lack of oxygen.
