But the Parc Taulí Pediatric Surgery Service firmly believes in teamwork, and you will be able to see the rest of the members both on the day of surgery and assistants, as well as on the visit during the hospitalization.

During the visits in External Consultations (CCEE), after the referral of the pediatrician, you will always be visited by Bernardo Núñez. All relevant diagnostic studies (CT, spirometry, echocardiography…) will be requested from CCEE. To do this we have one Multidisciplinary Pectus unit, where we work closely with the Pediatric Pneumology and Pediatric Cardiology Services, as well as the Institution's Radiodiagnosis Service.

If you are a surgical patient, we will be on a waiting list and, prior to surgery, will be visited by a pediatric or adult anesthetist (according to age), who will explain you well how everything will go and what they will use to manage post-surgical pain.

The postoperative period will take place at the Pediatrics hospitalization plant or at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. And until the date of discharge, you will be surrounded by a high-level specialized pediatric nursing team.
