Attention to the Parc Taulí Unit is a provider of the public evaluation service contemplated in the Law on the Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for Dependent People (LAPAD), within the PRODEP Program of the Catalan Institute of Social Assistance and Services ( ICASS) of the Department of Social Action and Citizenship of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The purpose of the assessments is to propose a certain degree and level of dependence on the people being evaluated, for the recognition by the administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the State and the consequent access to the rights contemplated in the law.
The SEVAD assessments are made at the person's habitual residence, with the previously received health information.
