In the Gastroenterology and Nutrition Unit of the Pediatric Medicine Service, treats in a specialized way the problems of the digestive system, in all its extension (gastroenterology) and whatever its cause, and also the primary nutritional problems or derived from other acute or chronic diseases. In addition, and in a very specific way, it also treats liver problems (hepatology), which is one of the most important and complex organs of the body.
