Infectious pathology proper

The Pediatrics Infectious Pathology Unit of the Hospital de Sabadell is dedicated to the study and treatment of pediatric diseases of infectious origin, both those that require hospitalization and the views to outpatient clinics (external consultation of Infectious and Tropical Diseases). Participate in the Antibiotic Policy Program of our Hospital, where in addition to the Adult Microbiology and Infectious Units, the Pharmacology Service is involved. This participation is reflected in the communication from Pharmacy of antibiotic treatments with restricted use and the proper assessment of their use.

He advises the various Pediatricians regarding the treatments to be followed in pediatric infectious diseases in patients admitted to Pediatric Neonatology and ICU.

Dr. Pineda personally (at MITPE's CCEE) and in collaboration with the pediatric team at the hospitalization plant, pediatric diseases of an infectious origin. Within this group of diseases, the following may be noted for their frequency or specificity:
