How to refer a patient?

Refer a patient to the Rare Diseases Unit - Parc Taulí

To refer a patient to the Rare Diseases Unit of Parc Taulí, it is essential that you send us a referral request to the liaison office. It is not possible to access the Rare Diseases Unit on the patients' own initiative.

1) If L'Hospital Parc Taulí is the patient's reference hospital, you must send a referral request to the Rare Diseases Unit of Parc Taulí as a center belonging to the Rare Diseases Care Network of Catalonia. You can send the referral request through the liaison office in spite of not knowing to which specialist to direct it. 

2) In the event that L'Hospital Parc Taulí is not the patient's reference hospital, the specialist at the patient's reference hospital must request a referral to the Rare Diseases Unit of Parc Taulí as a center belonging to the Minority Disease Care Network of Catalonia. The request for referral from the patient's referring hospital can be made through the liaison office.
