The Pediatric Medicine Service of the Hospital de Sabadell is part of the Center for Care for Women and Children (CADI), which is one of the most emblematic areas of the Hospital, both for its volume and for the new delivery room facilities, Neonatology, Pediatric ICU, Day Hospital and Pediatric Outpatient Clinics.
This website aims to be a gateway to the knowledge of our Service, but also a source of information, both for the general population looking for a comprehensive pediatric center where they can solve a problem of their child's health, as well as for the different professionals we work with in the field of hospital and / or outpatient paediatrics.
We like to work as a team, with the contribution of many specialists, but without losing the basic notion that the child is a unique whole, which must be considered as such.
Here you will find a description of each of the units that make up the Service and the multidisciplinary units involved in order to provide this comprehensive assistance that we were talking about. You will also find the care activity, as well as the scientific and teaching activity that is carried out, both in the pre and post-degree period and in the training of Specialist Doctors in Training (MEF).
Doctors who plan to come and train with us in the specialty of Pediatrics and their specific areas, have at their disposal the Resident's Guide, which will allow them to know what we offer.
Finally, this website is also a tool for continuing education that takes the form of our Virtual Library, a compendium of protocols, reviews, clinical cases ... that can be useful in daily healthcare practice.
Receive a very cordial greeting.
Director of the Pediatric Medicine Service
