Otorhinolaryngology is the medical and surgical specialty that deals with disorders of the ear, the upper aerodigestive tract (mouth, nose, pharynx, larynx), the related facial and cervical structures and the functions that perform, that is to say hearing, voice, speech, breathing, smelling and swallowing.

At the Otorhinolaryngology Service of the Sabadell Hospital, we treat patients from babies to the elderly, as the pathologies treated by the specialty are very diverse and affect all ages.

We study and treat medical and surgical:

  • Infections, trauma and malformations of the ear, nose and paranasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, salivary glands and cervico-facial structures.
  • Benign and malignant tumors of these organs.
  • Voice disorders.
  • Swallowing disorders.
  • Hearing disorders.
  • Disorders of nasal ventilation.
  • Vertigo.
  • Pathology of the snoring.
