Fellowship
In cardiovascular function, hemodynamic monitoring and advanced echocardiography in the critically ill patient.

Location
The development of the training program, both for teaching, care and clinical research activities will take place in the Critical Area of the Hospital de Sabadell - CSPT.
Financing
The candidate selected for the fellowship will not acquire any right to remuneration. The selected candidate could apply for an employment contract in the form of guards in the Critical Area during the 12 months in which he develops this training period if there is a possibility of hiring. Finally, you may also apply for additional funding obtained from external calls or scholarships.
Organization and tutoring
The person in charge of the fellowship program will be Dr. Ana Ochagavía, Head of the Critically Ill Area. The tutoring of the same will be a shared responsibility between doctors Jaume Mesquida and Guillem Gruartmoner, assistant doctors of the Critically Ill Area. The training will be conducted by the adjunct physicians members of the Working Group on Cardiovascular Function and Hemodynamic Monitoring of the Critically Ill Area.
Duration
The duration of the training program will be 12 months, from October 15, 2017 to September 30, 2018. The Selection Committee will resolve the award of the place after analyzing the resumes of the candidates and conducting personal interviews. The decision of the Committee may not be appealed. In the event that no applicant meets the conditions determined by the Selection Committee, the vacancy may be declared vacant.
Final certificate
CSUPT certificate. Currently endorsed by the Catalan Society of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine (SOCMIC). Pending endorsement from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and the Spanish Society of Intensive Care, Critical Care and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC).
Applicant's Requirements
Degree
The applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery as well as a Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine. In addition, the latter must have been acquired in the 3 years prior to the start date of the training program.
Skills and professional experience

Criteria for the evaluation of merits
- Curriculum vitae. Special attention will be paid to the orientation of the critical patient's cardiovascular function, hemodynamic monitoring and echocardiography. (Scientific publications, conference papers, courses, etc.)
