The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit provides care to infants and children from the first days of life to the age of 18, with critical or semi-critical pathology that requires continuous control and monitoring and treatment of specific critical support.
The Unit cares for patients in our area of reference as well as those transferred from other centers via pediatric SEM, continuously 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This comprehensive multidisciplinary and continuous care is intended to provide quality care, both in terms of material and human resources, to children with tax pathology and to support their families.
Capacity: The Pediatric ICU has 6 individual intensive care units, 5 of which can accommodate 2 semi-intensive cradles. In addition, one of the boxes is prepared for strict insulation and complex procedures.
This unit belongs to the Pediatric Medicine Service
