The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) publishes the Scientific Report of the year 2021 and, for the first time, it does so in multimedia format.
With this change, the Institute is committed to presenting its scientific and institutional results in a digital format, which is much more accessible to users, makes it easier to consult and read content, and is more sustainable. A més, el format web permet presentar aquesta publicació en català, castellà i en anglès, d'acord amb la vocació internacional de l'Institut, que no només vol arribar a la ciutadania i als agents del territori, sinó també ser una institució oberta in the world
The 2021 Scientific Report collects and synthesizes all its scientific, innovative and teaching activity. As highlighted by scientific director of the Institute, Lluís Blanch, one of the highlights of this year has been the recognition of the I3PT as a CERCA centre. "This milestone places us among the elite of Catalonia's research centers", says Blanch in his editorial.
Also, for the first time they have exceeded the 500 scientific publications and an impact factor of 3.924 points has been achieved, which represents an increase of more than 1.400 points compared to the previous year. It should be emphasized, also, the historical results of clinical trial activity, which have placed the Committee on Ethics of Research with Medicines (CEIm) of Parc Taulí as the 4th in Spain.
The Report also presents, as always, all the results and main milestones achieved by the Institute throughout 2021, such as the figures of its overall research activity and from each of its research areas, or the data of theinnovation activity, teaching, of the platforms and services, economic, and from communication.
