I3PT researchers awarded at the LV SEMICYUC 2020 Congress

The Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC) has awarded two research and innovation projects of the translational research group in pathophysiology associated with the critically ill in its LV National Online Congress of the SEMICYUC Málaga 2020.

Specifically, the following prizes have been awarded:

• 1st prize Dr Heliodoro Sancho Ruiz for best poster presented by doctoral student Guillem Navarra for the work “Virtual reality for early neurocognitive stimulation of the critically ill patient: randomized pilot validation study"
• Second prize for best experimental communication presented by doctoral student Luis Fernando Morales for the project “Role of hypercapnia in human primary alveolar cells damaged with LPS".
