The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) has received the certificate in R+D+i management in accordance with the UNE 166002:2021 Standard by the certifying company AENOR.
Specifically, the Institute has obtained the third version of the certificate, corresponding to the year 2021, which guarantees that the Institute has successfully implemented an R+D+i management system in accordance with the established requirements.
AENOR's certification covers research, development and innovation in the fields of medical technology, biotechnology and information technology, applied to hospital management, telemedicine, neurocognitive rehabilitation, disease detection and diagnosis, hospital practices, operating room equipment and prosthesis
This standard establishes a series of practical guidelines for the formulation and development of innovation and transfer policies in accordance with the activities developed by each organization.
The delivery of the certificate was held at Parc Taulí, in an event in which they participated [from left to right of the image] the I3PT project manager, Pau Esteve; the head of the Innovation Unit, Eduard Soler; the director of AENOR's Mediterranean Region, Ángel Luis Sánchez Cerón; the head of Business Development, Esther Rubio; the director of management of the Institute, Glòria Palomar; the scientific director of the institution, Lluís Blanch; the quality manager, Martha Rocío Ariza, and the project manager, Judith Juan.
Since its creation, the Institute has devoted efforts to have a controlled R+D+ii management system position itself in the health sector as a pioneer and benchmark for innovation. For this reason, in 2013 the Foundation began the process of implementing the management system under the principles of Standard UNE 166002:2006, being accredited for the first time that same year. Annually, the audits carried out have been satisfactorily passed until reaching the present day with the current certificate of conformity with the norm UNE 166002: 2021.
AENOR is the leading certification body in Spain, and contributes to the transformation of society by creating trust between organizations and people, through conformity assessment services (certification, inspection and testing), training and information.
