
The I3PT and La Salle-URL sign a collaboration agreement

THEParc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT), center of reference in research, innovation and knowledge transfer in health, and La Salle-URL, international university center with seven areas of knowledge, sign a agreement of collaboration to work together in the promotion of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) and in academic, scientific, technological and cultural projects.

La Salle-URL, together with Blanquerna-URL, has been teaching since this year the Degree in Health Engineering, which trains the professionals of the future who will work in technology applied to medicine and health. As a result of this new degree, the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute and La Salle-URL join forces to promote the research, innovation and the knowledge transfer in this area. Thus, they will project joint activities and initiatives to spread the word about technology and health, while also organizing special sessions within the framework of the Health Engineering Degree.
The director of the I3PT, Luis Blanch, and the director general of La Salle-URL, Joseph M. Santos, have signed the agreement at the Institute's premises in Sabadell.

The work teams of both institutions have undertaken to explore synergies and joint initiatives in the teaching and research field, and have visited the 3D Laboratory (3DPTLab), where theI3PT drive theuse of 3D technology in the medical and research field, while working very closely with health professionals, companies, research centers and universities.
