Parc Taulí has received a donation of 10.000 euros from the Sabadell company Cafès Pont for research and innovation. The agreement was staged with the presence of the president of the Parc Taulí Governing Council, Dolores Costa; the director of Cafès Pont, Raul Pont; and the director of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT), Luis Blanch.

This new agreement means the involvement of the citizen to help society, which is research and innovation, to the progress of medicine. With patronage we get, not only financial donations, but a participation in the projects we do", says Blanch

The entire amount will go to finance the Taulí Scholarship program for the Research and Innovation of the Parc Taulí, which aims to promote research and innovation among research professionals and researchers of the Institute of Research and Innovation of the Parc Taulí.

The Taulí Grants help finance projects of excellence and support emerging research groups to develop their projects, preparing them to be able to participate in competitive calls. Its call is annual - this year it will be held on December 21st and includes three modalities: grants for the research of accredited groups of the I3PT; grants for innovation projects, and research incentive grants for medical students.

Coffee for research

At the same time, the company from Sabadell will also launch a batch of 1.000.000 cups of coffee, from where they can consult the research and innovation projects of Parc Taulí through a QR code. This initiative will be rolled out soon and aims to make visible and make known to the public all the research and innovation activity carried out at the Institute.

I encourage anyone who wants to collaborate with us to come to the Institute and we will show them what we do. Patronage is very important to make the medicine we all want", concludes Blanch

The section <Collaborate>> , within the I3PT website, open to the entire population possibility to make one donation with which research and innovation projects can be promoted that advance scientific knowledge to improve patients' well-being and quality of life.
