Stanford University published this week the World's Top 2% Scientists List, an outstanding global ranking that identifies annually the most influential scientists in 22 research fields and 174 subfields based on bibliometric data.
The criteria for the selection are based on factors such as the number of publications, the quality of the journals in which they have published, the number of citations received throughout their career, and other indicators that reflect the influence and prestige of their scientific contributions. The final list features everyone who is in the top 2% or higher of their subfield of specialization worldwide.
In this edition, six researchers from the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) have been recognized both for their impact throughout their career and for the impact of their publications in the last year (2023).
This ranking is highly valued within the academic community, and highlights the quality and impact of the research carried out at the Institute.
