
The I3PT receives the "Equality in the Workplace" distinction from the Ministry of Equality

The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) has obtained the distinction "Equality in the Workplace [Igualdad en la Empresa]"(DIE) granted by the Ministry of Equality in recognition of the Institute's commitment to gender equality.
This distinction is a mark of excellence awarded by the Ministry to companies and entities that stand out in the development of equality policies between women and men, through the implementation of equality plans and measures, in areas such as access to employment and working conditions, including work-life balance and co-responsibility measures, gender-focused remuneration policy, inclusive communication, the organizational model and Corporate Social Responsibility, among others.
A solid commitment to equality
Since its inception, I3PT has integrated strategies and initiatives to ensure real equal opportunities in all areas of the institution. It was one of the first Catalan research institutes to implement a equality plan. Currently, the II Equality Plan (2022-2025) is being implemented and is working on developing the third for the next four years.
As Pilar Medel, equality officer at Parc Taulí, has highlighted, “obtaining this distinctionstrengthens our institutional commitment with gender equality and recognizes the work done by the Equality Commission since its creation in 2017, aligning us with the values of equity in the field of health research and innovation."
Meanwhile, I3PT's Managing Director, Lola Prados, has pointed out that this recognition converges with the European label Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), which “certifies our policies for promoting an inclusive work environment and guarantees equal opportunities in access, promotion and working conditions for our research staff”.
