The Minister of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Núria Montserrat, made an institutional visit to the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) this Thursday. During the meeting, she was able to get to know the research and innovation activity carried out at the center, led by the management and its research staff.
Accompanied by the director of the I3PT, Salvador Ventura, the president of Parc Taulí, Dolors Costa, the former director of the I3PT, Lluís Blanch, and the acting director of management of the I3PT, Lola Prados, the minister visited the Institute's facilities and was able to see the different spaces dedicated to research and innovation that it has.
One of the highlights of the tour was the visit to new experimental biomedical research laboratories, inaugurated last March, which represent a reflection of the entity's vision for the future and a determined commitment to strengthening its scientific and technological capabilities.
"It was an honor to receive the minister and be able to show her firsthand the talent and effort that we dedicate every day to research and innovation at the Institute. Her visit is a recognition of the constant work that is being done and an important impetus to continue advancing our projects," said Ventura.
For her part, the minister highlighted the importance of centers like I3PT to consolidate Catalonia as a pole of attraction in research and expressed the support of the Generalitat to continue promoting projects that generate impact on society. This visit reinforces the collaboration between the Institute and the Generalitat to advance the healthcare innovation ecosystem.
