In the last 3 years, Javier Perez Acebo, emergency nurse from Parc Taulí together with the Fundació Parc Tauli have developed a Smart Safety Harness for agitated patients in emergency room. The product has been patented and prototyped. The objective of the initiative is to give tools to ensure safety and ethics in contained patients.
