The Collider Program 2019 is an initiative promoted by The Mobile World Capital and the Generalitat of Catalunya to bring valuable research into the market. The last edition of the program contributed to the constitution of three new start-ups.

Since 2016, a research group of the Parc Taulí University Hospital has focused on applying 3D surgical planning to Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery in order to improve complex orthopedic surgeries.The skills and experience of the group has grown during these three years as well as the team's composition and infrastructure.

In the last 3 years, Javier Perez Acebo, emergency nurse from Parc Taulí together with the Fundació Parc Tauli have developed a Smart Safety Harness for agitated patients in emergency room. The product has been patented and prototyped. The objective of the initiative is to give tools to ensure safety and ethics in contained patients.
