The Scientific Production and Open Science Unit's mission is to promote, support and optimize research activity, guaranteeing rigorous management of scientific production, the analysis and strategic exploitation of bibliometric data, support for research staff and institutional alignment with the principles of open science, responsible research and the reform of scientific evaluation, with the aim of maximizing the quality, impact and recognition of research.
To achieve this mission, the Unit offers a set of comprehensive services that cover the entire cycle of research activity:
- Home: support in the search, retrieval and use of scientific information, access and lending of online documents, and advice on the use of specialized information resources.
- Development: user training, advice on scientific publication strategies, management and preservation of research data, and curation of academic profiles in databases and scientific platforms.
- Impact and results: extraction and analysis of metrics for competitive calls and evaluation processes, promotion of open access to research results, analysis of bibliometric indicators and support for the visibility, dissemination and scientific and social impact of research production.
This set of services integrates the efficient management of scientific production with the principles of open science and responsible research, with the aim of guaranteeing a significant scientific and social impact, aligned with international standards and sustainable.

- Management of scientific production at the Parc Taulí Institute for Research and Innovation (I3PT)
- Research support through advice on information search, scientific publication, impact and academic dissemination
- Leadership and promotion of open science through the movement for open access to publications and research data management
- Support to accredited research groups and research staff in applications for competitive calls and accreditation processes
- Exploitation of bibliometric data on the Institute's scientific production
- Leadership and execution of the impact strategy and presentation of evaluable impact narratives
- Training in information skills, scientific publishing, research data management and scientific impact assessment
- Orientation of the Institute towards the scientific evaluation reform movement.
