The Research Support Unit (USR) aims to provide methodological and statistical advice to the research staff, with the aim of improving the quality and quantity of the biomedical research of the Parc Taulí Health Consortium (CCSPT).
The services provided by the USR are:
- Economic viability of the study
- Methodological and regulatory advice tailored to the type of study
- Advice on the design and elaboration of the protocol
- Generation of randomization lists
- Anonymization and pseudonymization of research data
- Sample size estimation
- Design and development of data collection notebooks with REDCap
- Biostatistical analysis
- Review of competitive calls
- Methodological, statistical and bioinformatics training
- Advice on the preparation of the data management plan*
- Support in the curation of the dataset by depositing it in the CORA.RDR repository*
- Management of requests for access to the clinical data of Parc Taulí for its use in research and innovation projects**
