Storage services and technical services for data management

12.1. Non-HPC Compute and Storage

Note 1: This NAS storage is replicated in the second CPD and they are done snapshots newspapers of the last 7 days, cannot be integrated with the disk/tape backup service.

Note 2 (**): Rate applicable to users of any institution with an alliance agreement with the I3PT.

Note 3: All services will be contracted for a minimum period of 6 months.

Servers are backed up from our Commvault platform as an additional service included in the fee.

Incremental copies are made daily and full copies are made on weekends. The retention of these copies is:

• Daily copies saved two months on disk
• One weekly copy to tape saved for two months
• One monthly tape copy saved for one year
• One annual tape copy kept for five years

12.2. Datalake, interoperability, CIMD and development

Semiquantitative PCR

The fee corresponds to the performance of a session of the analyzer 50 samples. The price of the kit and any pretreatment of the sample are not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of infectious agents.

Open analyzers

ELISA

The fee corresponds to the performance of a 96-well ELISA plate. The price of the kit and any pretreatment of the sample are not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of biomarkers.

Flow cytometry

The fee corresponds to the analysis of one sample. The price of monoclonal antibodies or manual lysis of the samples is not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of surface and intracellular markers.

luminex

The fee corresponds to the analysis of 50 samples by PCR-SSO and the analysis of a 96-well ELISA plate. The price of the kit or any pretreatment of the sample is not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of genes, antigens and antibodies.

Indirect immunofluorescence

The fee corresponds to the performance of one session of the analyzer with 10 slides (50 or 100 determinations). The price of the kit or any pretreatment of the sample is not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of antigens and antibodies.

Immunoblotting

The fee corresponds to one session of the analyzer with 30 samples. The price of the kit or any pretreatment of the sample is not included. This technique allows the detection of a wide variety of antigens and antibodies.

Special techniques

ETosis Study

The cost calculation was based on 90mL of whole blood for the purification of polymorphonuclear cells and 90 samples for the induction of ETosis and its quantification.

Immunoprecipitation

The fee corresponds to the performance of a session of 8 samples. The price of reagents and consumables is not included. In addition to nucleic acids, this technique allows the detection of a wide variety of antibodies.

Ex vivo stimuli

The fee corresponds to the performance of cultures and stimuli under sterile conditions. The cost of cell lines, the obtaining of PBMCs, as well as the necessary reagents and consumables is not included.

Study of post-translational modifications of histones

Cost calculated for 100 samples for 1 specific modification of a cell type. Cost may vary depending on user requirements. Any other histone modification can be analyzed as long as there is a commercial antibody available for the ELISA application for the modification to be studied.

Annex I

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT FEES FOR NON-COMMERCIAL RECERCA PROJECTS

The management of a contract for all types of study becomes mandatory, even if it is a non-commercial project, in order to establish the conditions under which these will be carried out, especially as regards the personal data of the patients subject to the study, given that the data that is collected and transferred is health-related and therefore particularly sensitive; financial conditions, if applicable; and/or conditions on the ownership of the research results, if applicable.

It is for this reason that the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute Foundation establishes the following conditions for the completion of the studies:

1) Mandatory contract signature for any type of study

2) For non-commercial studies, mandatory signature of the responsible statement
non-commercial research

3) The corresponding payment of the fees corresponding to this management, differentiated and independent of the CEIm fees

• As long as the project has a commercial spirit, the exemption or reduction of CEIm rates or contract rates will not apply.
• If the project does not have a commercial spirit, the exemption from CEIm fees will apply. But the contract fee remains under the following conditions:
  • Reduction if the project has funding or CRO (AACC: €605 / other studies: €165, addenda: €110 and €55 respectively).
  • Exemption in case of having neither funding nor CRO and accepting the Taulí contract model.
  • Reduction in case of having neither financing nor CRO and substantially modifying the Taulí contract model or using another contract model.
• In case of non-commercial I3PT internal projects in which only one center participates, contract fees will be waived. In the case of multicenter studies, the following conditions will apply:
  • Exemption: Use of the Taulí contract model by all centers without substantial modifications.
  • Reduction: In case of substantial modification of the Taulí model or use of another contract model (AACC: €605 / other studies: €165, addenda: €110 and €55 respectively).
• If the project is from a spin-off participated by the I3PT, the exemption from CEIm fees will apply, but it will not be exempted from the payment of the contract fee.
• In the case of shared risk contracts, the CEIm fee exemption will apply, and the payment of the contract fee will be offset in the future by the Royalty income.

Annex II

FEES FOR SPIN-OFF PARTICIPATED BY I3PT
