Group A7G1 - Clinical Pharmacy Research

Accreditation level: Associated group

The clinical pharmacy research group was born from the need to give visibility to the scientific activity of the team of professionals that make up the Pharmacy Service. Ours is a cross-cutting service that supports other clinical services and this gives us broad and extensive visibility of pharmacotherapy in different population groups. In terms of research and development of projects, the pharmacy team has experience in the study of the use of different pharmacotherapeutic groups and their application in patients with diverse pathology. The transversal vision of the team allows multidisciplinary participation in studies involving different levels of care. However, our team has extensive knowledge in independent clinical trials, which provides quality in the development of protocols and planning of own studies.

The group participates in local societies such as the Catalan Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SCFC), national societies such as the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy (SEFH) and international societies such as the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP).
