The specialized outpatient service provides care for children and young people with mental disorders and addictions, which, due to their severity and complexity, require specific intervention, with different levels of intensity. It consists of two Centers for Child and Youth Community Mental Health (I and II)Which are basic services specializing in outpatient psychiatry and mental health and collaboration with primary health care. They have expert multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, specialized nursing and social work), which have the functions of detection, diagnosis, treatment and comprehensive monitoring of care processes (affective disorders, anxiety, psychosis, ADHD, autism, disorders). This is a part-time inpatient unit with 20 seats, which provides multidisciplinary care for patients with mental disorders, behavioral and / or addictions that require therapeutic treatment and / or rehabilitation under intensive daytime and may maintain links with community and family during the therapeutic process. Facilitates intensive and multidisciplinary treatment (psychiatrists, clinical psychologist, skilled nursing and social work) to achieve clinical stability and reintegration of the patient in their social and family environment, preventing separation and isolation. Generally, patients receive individual psychotherapy, psychopharmacological follow-up, family care program, educational intervention, and social worker intervention, in addition to group activities aimed at promoting social adaptation.
Day hospital treatment follows an individualized program that is interdisciplinary and periodically reviewed.
