We have a hospitalization unit with 4 beds for the population under 18 years of the Vallès Occidental East (90.000 inhabitants). It aims to provide comprehensive attention to breakdowns or acute situations where there is a severe psychopathological risk, which requires immediate 24-hour intervention, with intensive clinical actions, within a short period of time. It is equipped with the technical and structural means to ensure a safe environment, so it has special security measures and is restricted access.
Among its therapeutic programs is a program of Eating Disorders.
Its aim is to return the minor patient to his or her family, social, school or work environment, in conditions of clinical referral that allow, if appropriate, post-outpatient follow-up by appropriate community services.
