Consortium Corporación Sanitaria Parc Taulí of Sabadell

Introduction

The Consorci Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí de Sabadell is a public consortium of the Generalitat de Catalunya, whose highest governing body is the Governing Council, and which manages the following centres: Sabadell Hospital, UDIAT Diagnostic Centre, Albada Sociosanitary Centre, Mental Health Park Taulí, Primary Care Park Taulí, Primary Care Park Taulí, Dependency Care Park Taulí and also the services of Sabadell Gent Gran Center de Serveis, through a limited company. The Consortium is the sole partner of this last entity and appoints all the members of its board of directors. In addition, it is a teaching unit of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is considered a University Hospital.

Parc Taulí is linked to the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute Foundation, whose board of trustees appoints most of its members. The institutions of Parc Taulí receive the support of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute Foundation in aspects of research, innovation and teaching, in the scientific and medical training of professionals and, in general, in the development of the knowledge that underpins the model assistance

Parc Taulí has, together with Consorci Mar Parc de Salut de Barcelona and Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili a grouping of economic interest, the sole purpose of which is to manage the logistics for its centers. This entity, called Coordinación Logística Sanitària AIE (CLS AIE) has its own Taulí of Directors as the highest governing body.

The General Management exercises the maximum executive power in the Consortium and in all the unipersonal and linked entities, through its managerial-organizational structure.

It is the function of the Governing Council to set strategic policies, supervise the management and organization of each of the activity units and control the Institution in an integrated way. This integrated control is based on the values of the Corporation (citizen orientation, involvement and development of professionals and efficient organization), within the framework of viability, as the only responsible alternative for the future and, also , with transparency as the best ally.
