Today we open the blog of Neurosciences-ParcTaulí-UAB, a space that will allow us to see all the achievements, events and actions related to research and innovation in Neuroscience. and Mental Health carried out by researchers and clinicians of the Parc Taulí Health Corporation and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Since 2010, the mental health and neurology professionals at Parc Taulí University Hospital have been working with basic researchers at the UAB Institute of Neurosciences (INc) to promote research of excellence in neuroscience, a strategic and ethical priority. In 2017, within the framework of the Parc Taulí Research Institute (I3PT), the Mixed Unit-Neuroscience Laboratory Parc Taulí-INc-UAB became an example of collaborative research, which allowed it to begin its link to the network of most important research on mental illness at the national level, the CIBERSAM network of the Carlos III Institute of Health (GCV16 / SAM / 1).

The goal of both researchers and clinicians in the Neurociències ParcTaulí-UAB group is twofold. On the one hand, to improve communication and enhance the fluid connection between researchers in the scientific community and, on the other, to share with society the main results of research in neuroscience and its impact on human health.
