Genomic medicine is as broad as the medical specialties to which it is applied. This includes a significant amount of constantly changing knowledge, the development of methodologies, techniques and instruments, as well as computer and artificial intelligence development, all under a regulatory and ethical umbrella. Training and empowering health and research personnel provides access to the frontier of knowledge and the best healthcare practices. That is why, as a university hospital, linked to the University of Barcelona, we are committed to training and education.

Stays for master's degree: Our Center for Genomic Medicine has the experience and capacity to receive and train Master's students, whether in the genetics laboratory, genetic counseling or medical genetics.

Training periods: We offer stays for medical residents, preferably from the third year of specialized training, who want to expand their knowledge and experience in clinical genetics through an external rotation. The stay may be carried out by national or international resident doctors and may last between 1 and 6 months. It will also be possible to assess the request for stays by specialist doctors already trained, who have a specific interest in expanding or updating their knowledge in clinical genetics.
