In the oncological pathology (esophageal and gastric cancer), in which we are one of 5 hospitals in Catalonia considered tertiary and highly complex, the control of results includes careful monitoring of survival and disease-free interval, and the continuous training of the professionals who belong to it with stays in other centers around the world to incorporate the most current and useful techniques in order to improve always the clinical results. The incorporation of the minimally invasive robot-assisted surgery since 2020 it has been an important step forward in both clinical and oncological results.
