Communiqué from Parc Taulí to the public in the case of Traiber prostheses

Faced with the news published today by various media, in relation to the imputation of 47 doctors from different Catalan hospitals (including a professional from Parc Taulí), for alleged bribes to use prostheses from the company Traiber, the institution is sees in the obligation to state the following:

• The Parc Taulí Health Corporation has never bought or placed any Traiber prosthesis in any patient, so that patients operated on at Sabadell Hospital can be absolutely calm in this regard.
   
• The fact that a surgeon working in this institution has been able to place, presumably, prostheses of this trademark in some other health center, is a fact completely foreign to the Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí, so we ask the media that the name or prestige of this institution is not related in any matter with which we have no relationship.
