Parc Taulí performs well on the first evaluation of the application of the Transparency Law

The evaluation has been carried out by the Office of Rationalization of the Instrumental Public Sector of the Generalitat, in order to assess the current availability of information and the degree of compliance with the obligations of active advertising arising from Law 19/2014, which came into force on July 1 this year.

The results are based on the degree of compliance with 24 key requirements, such as the publication of the annual budget, the calls for staff selection, the statutes and creation agreements, the profile and professional career of the top manager, among others.

Parc Taulí is the seventh public sector entity with the highest degree of compliance with the Transparency Law, of the 59 studied, and the second with respect to health entities. The evaluation emphasizes that the institution is an example of good practice to show, in the Portal of transparency and good governance of the website, the person responsible and the date of updating the information, and to have a useful search engine to locate specific information.

Law 19/2014, of 29 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, aims to provide citizens with knowledge of the actions of public sector entities in the administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the control and transparency in the destination of public money.
