Parc Taulí carries out renovation work on the pavement in the square of the health center

A team of professionals from the Maintenance Service are carrying out the work which is expected to be completed by the end of next May. The refurbishment works consist of removing the badly damaged bleachers, which will be replaced by stairs and railings.

Specifically, the work will consist of the renovation of the stands area to replace them with stairs and railings in order to facilitate traffic for the elderly or people with mobility problems. Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of next May.

The project of works is elaborated by the City council of Sabadell and, as it explains the director of Economy and Services of the Park Taulí, Francesc Luque, also is foreseen to eliminate the lawn and the parterres situated in front of the main façade of the hospital. Adequate soil will be placed to prevent mud from forming when it rains, although the current trees will be maintained.

These works have a budget of € 90.000, 50% financed by the company ISS - concessionaire of the Blues restaurant - and the other 50% by Parc Taulí, which assumes the costs of labor. Once the work has been completed, the work will be received by Sabadell City Council, which will assume its maintenance as a Via Pública space.
