Two innovative projects from Parc Taulí Hospital (ANAIS medical, and Nephrocloud) have been Presented to the 1st Spanish congress donde vascular access (GEMAV) held in Barcelona donde 14-16 November 2019. Dr. Jose Ibeas, senior consultando in nephrology, vicepresidente of the GEMAV, and member of the organizing committee, is leading both projects in collaboration with the industry for their development and Commercialization.

This week we were at Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) presenting the opportunities in public procurements for innovation at Parc Taulí. SCEWC is referente international event for smart cities that Brings together leader representativas from worldwide municipalities, institutions, research centers, companies, and entrepreneurs. This year, the SCEWC focused on five main topics: digital transformation, urban environment, mobility, governance and finance, and inclusive and sharing cities.

The Collider Program 2019 is an initiative promoted by The Mobile World Capital and the Generalidad of Cataluña to bring valuable research into the market. The last edition of the programe contributed for the constitution of three new start-ups.

Taby Diagnostics and Safety Hug are two innovative projects that have recently been Awarded by FIPSE (Fundación par la Innovación y la Prospectiva en Salud en España). The grant will give the projects the financial resources to cover those expensas associated to the evaluation of the market opportunity.

Since 2016, a research group of the Parc Taulí University Hospital has focused in applying 3D surgical planning to Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery in order to improve complejo orthopedic surgeries.The skills and the experience of the group has grown during these three years as well as the team s composition and infrastructure.
